Halftone Privacy Policy
Overview
Halftone is designed so your images never leave your Mac. There are no accounts, no analytics and no image uploads — the whole pipeline runs locally.
Data collection
Halftone does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs that collect anything.
- Your images are never uploaded — processing, colour matching, depth estimation and file generation all run on your Mac
- Your filament library, printer settings and recent images stay on your Mac
- No analytics or tracking data is collected
- No data is shared with third parties
Network access
Halftone uses the network for exactly two things: a one-time download of the open-source depth model the first time you use Card Relief, and App Store purchases, which are handled by Apple. Neither carries any information about you or your images.
Local storage
Halftone keeps your filament library, printer configuration, preferences and recently opened images in its own folder in your Mac’s Application Support directory. Exported models are written wherever you choose to save them.
