Nightbeam Privacy Policy

Overview

Nightbeam is built so that there is nothing to collect. It has no accounts, no servers of mine for your data to sit on, and no analytics. What follows is the detail.

Data collection

Nightbeam does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. The app runs entirely on your device.

• Your SFTP server credentials are stored in the system keychain on your device only
• Your media organisation preferences remain on your device
• No analytics or tracking data is collected
• No data is shared with third parties

Server connections

When you connect to an SFTP server, Nightbeam talks directly to that server. Connections are not routed, proxied or monitored by anyone. Your credentials and everything transferred stay between you and your own machine.

Local storage

Nightbeam stores the following on your device:

• Server connection details, with credentials in the system keychain
• Your folder organisation settings
• App preferences, and any videos you download

None of it leaves your device unless you export or back it up yourself through the standard iOS backup mechanisms.

Third-party services

Nightbeam integrates with no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking services. There are no third-party SDKs in the app.
